Job Description

The storyboard artist will develop storyboards, to allow the Director and Producer to evaluate the visualized episode before the start of production based on following the approved script and designs.

Job Responsibilities :

• To communicate with directors and study the script in order to understand the required mood and overall theme of the story
• To illustrate the narrative and to plan shots
• To draw scenes for action visualisation and maintaining continuity between scenes
• To consider camera angles and lighting to be used when drawing
• To compile storyboard into fully-timed animatic
• To amend storyboards according to notes given by the directors during the course of production

Job Requirements :

• Proficiency in Photoshop and Toonboom Storyboard Pro
• Excellent drawing skill with a creative mind to conjure new perspectives
• Have a basic understanding of camera cuts, composition and staging
• Able to follow approved designs and direction, and produce consistent output
• Able to make changes on the work in response to constructive feedback
• Ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
• Artist with 1 year experience in the industry or fresh graduate are welcomed to apply
