I’m Max, the Founder of Megaphone, one of the largest Australian agencies. Now, I’ve teamed up with the animation extraordinaire, Zach Pogrob (@zachpogrob on Instagram), renowned for his massive 2 Million following. Together, we’re on a thrilling journey to bring our clients the best in the world of video.

Animators that join our team get to work with the likes of Ben Meer (@benmeer on Instagram), Kane Kallaway (@kanekallaway on Instagram), Alex & Books (@alexandbooks_), and many more of the world’s biggest influencers.

BIG PICTURE:

We are searching for a full-time Animator to help us create short viral videos! This means understanding what captures attention! Hooks, crisp visuals, zooms, j-cuts, and whatever else grabs attention for the next viral masterpiece. The ideal candidate has experience with editing shorts and knows how to build emotion, create tension, and increase the overall entertainment value of each film with little or no direction.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Create Animations: Employ your animation skills to add visual elements that enhance the storytelling and engagement of our videos. Whether it’s motion graphics, character animations, or special effects, your expertise will be crucial.
• Enhance Storytelling: Tell stories with animation. Use it to create emotional impact, convey complex ideas, and make our videos not just informative but emotionally resonant.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to animate viral short form videos in many different styles and techniques of animation.
• Ensuring that audio is finely tuned to provide the best quality possible.
• Adding subtitles and branding to all videos while ensuring all final files are complete and organized.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Proficiency in animation is a fundamental requirement for this role.
• 3 Year’s experience editing short form video content that gets views.
• High level experience with editing narrative work.
• Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.
• Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projects.
• Ability to learn quickly and is a team player.
• Skilled in handling quick output without losing quality.
• Experience with Adobe Audition, and working with audio files to get acceptable audio.

 

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

You will use your own computer equipment and software to develop animations for Vids. This is a fully remote work from home position.

WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:

The typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, with schedule flexibility. As long as you hit your deadlines and create quality work, we are happy!
