Job Description

MENAACTION is a nonprofit organization founded by a group of Middle Eastern youth. We advocate for the rights of Middle Eastern youth and focus on issues of policy, advocacy, democracy, and human rights. Our goal is to empower and support young people in the region, who often face challenges such as political disenfranchisement, socioeconomic obstacles, and restrictions on personal freedoms.

Role Description

MENAACTION is currently implementing the TAQASI Project that provides targeted training to Jordanian journalists to counter fake news. Part of this project is to raise public awareness of fake news. Therefore, we are looking for an Animator for a one-time short task to design a short animations video to raise public awareness of one of the project’s activities. The Animator will work closely with the team to create engaging visual content (a short video). The video should be no more than one minute long, and it must be in Arabic

Qualifications

• Experience in motion capture, animation, and storyboarding
• Proficiency in motion graphics software
• Fluency in Arabic is a must
• Attention to detail and creativity
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in advocacy or nonprofit work is a plus
