Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Animator / Motion Graphics Editor to join our team at NOT AN AD in a part-time contract capacity. As an Animator, you will play a pivotal role in producing engaging social assets for our clients through captivating animations and motion graphics. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity while contributing to the success of our diverse projects.

Responsibilities:

• Independently create 4-8 animations per month across various clients, adhering to project briefs and deadlines.
• Develop visually appealing motion graphics that align with client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
• Collaborate with the larger team to refine concepts and incorporate feedback into animations.
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding according to project guidelines
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging techniques

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Animator or Motion Graphics Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills and creative vision.
• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and storytelling concepts.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.

Additional Information:

• This is a part-time contract position with workload estimated at 80 hours per month.
• The initial contract will be for a 3-month period, with the possibility of extension to a 1-year contract in July.
• Projected Start Date: April 22, 2024
• Initial Contract End Date: July 15, 2024
