2D Storyboard Revisionist

Job Description

Our 2D Storyboard Revisionist needs to have strong narrative and drawing skills, and a clear understanding of composition and layout. Working from the Story team’s initial boards, as well as additional Director’s notes, their skills are vital to the completion of clear storyboards that will be used throughout the rest of production.

Day to Day:

  • Use thumbnails and Director feedback to create coherent and accomplished storyboards.
  • Interpret and apply comedic timing from the scripts and thumbnails successfully.
  • Maintain consistency and perspective when drawing characters throughout all boards, staying on model.
  • Work alongside the Director and Editor to ensure fixes and feedback has been incorporated into the boards.

About You

Must Have:

  • Good understanding of Toonboom Storyboard Pro.
  • Good understanding of perspective.
  • Strong application of strong posing and character.
  • Strong knowledge of layout and composition.
  • A demonstrated and accomplished understanding of story.
  • Both self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Able to take direction and willing to address constructive feedback.
  • Able to communicate clearly, work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Have an appreciation of accuracy and pay close attention to detail.
  • Be able to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous production experience.
