Title – Lead 2D Animator

Type – Contract/Employment

Location – Iceland

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• lead a team of talented 2D Animators, both internal and external,
• providing revisions and feedback to animated shots created by the team,
• collaborate closely with the Animation Director, Director and other departments’ Leads to create excellent cut-out animation, maintaining the visual style and quality within given deadlines,
• work with the Riggers and Character Designer to help developing character and props Toon Boom Harmony riggs, consulting and reporting errors
• provide guidance, mentorship and feedback to junior artists, helping them develop their skills and grow.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• a proven experience as a senior/lead 2D character artist with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the animation industry,
• at least 2 years on the Animation Lead/Supervisor position,
• proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony,
• understating of 2D animation pipeline,
• excellent communication and collaboration skills,
• a strong portfolio showcasing your character animation,
• problem-solving ability,
• a strong command of the English language.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Candidates willing to relocate to Iceland will be preferred.
