Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced 2D Animator & Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D animations, integrating data into the game engine, testing, debugging, and ensuring that all animations align with the artistic direction of the project. You will also be involved in creating prototypes and production animations that complement the game design vision.

Responsibilities:

• Produce work in accordance with the artistic direction of the project.

• Create high-quality 2D animations and integrate data into the game engine.

• Develop prototypes and production animations that align with the game design vision.

• Adhere to quality standards and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

• Contribute to the improvement of animation tools and production pipelines.

• Review and provide feedback on animations from outsourcing partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the animation outsourcing pipeline.

Requirements:

• A keen eye for motion and animation.

• 3-5 years of experience in the casual mobile game industry, with expertise in rigging, skinning, keyframe animation, and procedural animation.

• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiological reactions, body language, and proportions to express character emotions through movement.

• Proficiency in common game design tools and software such as After Effects, Cocos, Spine, Photoshop, Unity, Unity is a must.

• Experience with Spine animation is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

• Passion for gaming and art, with a broad interest in different game genres and styles.

• Proficient in Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with Chinese-speaking counterparts.

• Experience in managing outsourced animation vendors is a plus.

• Portfolio should be attached to the CV.
