Job Description

Red Star 3D are seeking a STUDIO PIPELINE TD to join the company on a permanent basis, starting with our upcoming production of a BBC Christmas Special for Magic Light Pictures.

This role will involve the successful candidate taking full responsibility for the internal animation pipeline at Red Star, working with department leads to meet their production needs and ensuring the efficient functioning of the production pipeline at all times, as well as developing and supporting tools and working in partnership with other co-producing animation studios.

Responsibilities

• Manage pipeline between Maya, Arnold, Yeti, Houdini, Shotgrid
• Manage / edit / develop in-house tools
• Set up rendering tools to be used with Deadline
• Help artists with tools / provide tech support

 

Skills & Requirements

Must haves

• Five years production experience (minimum)
• Experience with Maya, Arnold, Yeti and Shotgrid
• Thorough knowledge of Python, Maya API
• Thorough knowledge of Linux and Windows

Nice to haves

• Knowledge of software licensing
• General IT experience

 

This is a fully remote position, anywhere in the World although preferably European timezone.

This is a full-time, permanent position expected to start September 2022 [TBC].
