Job Description

Titmouse Vancouver is looking to hire a Storyboard Artist for an upcoming adventure and comedy kid’s show starring animals! Think shows like Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and Gumball. We’re looking for an experienced candidate familiar with the children’s comedy genre and spunky humor. This artist will be jumping into the production mid-season.
Estimated Project Length: May 1, 2023 – August 19, 2023
*If the work for this position is performed within the geographical jurisdiction of the collective bargaining agreement, it will be covered by that agreement.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Must apply with a storyboard portfolio
    • Must have previous experience as a storyboard artist on episodic series
    • Strong working knowledge of Storyboard Pro
    • Strong understanding of comedic timing and parody humor
    • Strong understanding of animal anatomy and versatile with different styles of camera work
    • Have a love for cinematic compositions and classic live action projects such as anything by Edgar Wright, Jaws, The Office, etc.
    • Ability to board key poses and expressions of important character acting
    • Ability to draw in the project’s style
