Remote 2D Animator for theatrical film
Film in the style of the classic Disney features is currently looking for Assistant Animators.

Assistant Animators must be skilled character animators comfortable working 24 fps on 1’s and 2’s –we are not using any puppet animation no tweening or shortcuts. Assistant Animators must have the ability to create full fluid animation. We are drawing new frames on 1’s and 2’s.

Assistant Animators will be working with rough animation from various artists with different interpretations of the character model.

Assistant Animators will ensure the characters are completely on point with the turn-around and model sheets, regardless of original animator’s drawings. Assistant Animators will ensure / enhance performance from rough original Animation all the while following model sheets and characters reference materials to ensure character is perfectly on model.

This is not a clean up position only.

Assistant Animators while cleaning will be responsible to ensure each frame is on point with the character model and that all model design is accurate from scene to scene.

• Assistant Animators will follow the timing of the X/sheets and/or the original performance in the full rough and key animation provided, creating final in-betweens, clean lines/ final line weight to ink and paint.
• Assistant Animators are required to meet deadlines.
• Assistant Animators must have strong understanding of classic 2d traditional Disney style animation.
