Are you an experienced motion designer looking for adventure and a chance to further develop your skills? Does living and working in Dubai sound appealing to you? Dicesol Animation is a start-up animation studio located in Dubai, and we are looking for a passionate motion designer with a large amount of knowledge in animation techniques and software. A perfect candidate is somebody who is passionate about learning new techniques and is focused on working efficiently and producing high quality content at fast rate. Tasks will mainly involve designing and developing styles, and text and motion graphics animation in Adobe After Effects. You will have plenty of room to develop your skills and take ownership for the final product as we have a small team of 4 members to begin with. We need someone who won’t quit until they are proud of their product. Someone willing to take ownership to ensure that the final product is exceptional. Someone who has a desire to be along in creating some compelling and inspiring animation films.

Responsibilities

• Design, illustrate, and animate graphic elements
• Storyboard and pitch ideas
• Create Animatics
• Follow instructions and style guidelines
• Contribute positively to the overall quality of the animation with constructive criticism and innovative ideas

Requirements

• Proven experience as an animator 3+ years (recommendation from previous employers and/or freelancing profile)
• Showreel/portfolio demonstrating your style and abilities. Please attach your showreel/portfolio to your application
• Graphic design experience
• Highly skilled in animation software (Ae, Blender, 3ds Max, etc.)
• High level of knowledge of animation techniques and effects, able to creatively solve software-based challenges
• Good understanding of cameras, cinematography, and composition
• Strong Illustration ability
• Ability to take ownership of a project and work independently

An exceptional candidate could also be:

• Skilled in Ae script writing
• Highly skilled in both 3D and 2D software
• Highly skilled in Illustration and graphic design
• Experienced character animator (cut-out in Ae)
