£40,454 to £48,530 pro rata (£24,272.40 to £29,118 per annum)

We are seeking to recruit two lecturer roles for the MA Character Animation course within the Performance Programme at Central Saint Martins.

Successful Character Animation Lecturering candidates will deliver teaching across a range of animation techniques and performance practices, supporting student learning in; skills acquisition, creative enquiry, critical thinking and personal development. These new roles will extend the level of subject expertise and critical understanding of the course, maintaining the curriculum at the forefront of creative professional practice relevant to a diverse student body.

You will provide both academic and pastoral support, monitoring progress and attendance, and maintaining appropriate records. You will support students through the pre-production, production and post-production stages of their projects and help them with their planning, development and delivery.

You will contribute to the admissions processes of the course and assist others through showcase activities.

Your Character Animation profile

We are seeking character animation candidates with experience of implementing animation principles in character performance in a professional context. You should have prior experience of teaching and assessment within Higher Education to degree and/or postgraduate level. You will demonstrate effective teamworking skills as well as a commitment to understanding and responding to a range and diversity of student experiences.
