Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Illustrator to join our Lifestyle division. The Illustrator will be responsible for creating visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. Reporting to the Designer, the Illustrator will create illustrations and arts that are relevant to this division as well as provide support to the designer.

Responsibilities

• Create illustrations for collections that support brand vision
• Develop creative prints and color palettes using trends
• Design AOP’s, yarn dye and embroideries
• Produce color separation and specs on Illustration
• Performing trend research
• Follow a structured timeline and adheres to company milestone dates on calendar
• Other ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

• DEC in Fashion Design or relevant experience
• 3 years’ experience in apparel industry
• Experience in Wholesale apparel (an asset)
• Experience in childrenswear (an asset)
• Proficient with Illustrator and Photoshop
• Good synthesis capacity
• Technical eye
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Great organization skills
• Meticulous and consistent
• Great time management skills
• Knowledge of garment construction
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual; fluent in French and English
