Job Description

We’re currently looking for experienced and motivated CG Layout Artists to join our growing team for a new animated comedy series. As a CG Layout Artist, you will be responsible for staging and blocking the cameras and characters in virtual environments using both technical and artistic skills to prepare sequences for use in production.

• This role is open only to residents of the Republic of Ireland.

• Start date: August / September 2023

• Job type: Full time contract

• Location: On-site (Dublin). Remote applicants based in in Ireland will be also considered.

• Tools: Blender

• Deadline for applications: Friday 11th August 2023

Key skills and qualities we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

• Solid experience as a CG Layout Artist on animated series or feature(s)

• Creative and technical flair for visual storytelling, including staging, composition and editing

• Experience with proxy modelling and lighting

• In-depth knowledge and experience with Blender

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work

• Familiarity with Shotgrid is considered a plus

• Fluency in English

• Strong communications skills and an ability to take feedback, supporting a collaborative and creative work environment
