DESCRIPTION:  Surfing Giant Europe are looking for an experienced Animation Editor to join our talented team and work on a high-profile Disney Junior Series, “Hey A.J”, which will be appearing on the Disney Jr. Channel and Disney+.

Reporting to the Head of Post Production, the Editor will be responsible for providing support to the Editing team as needed;

Key Areas of responsibilities:

• Responsible for animatic reel assemblies & rough timing passes
• Responsible for colour assemblies
• Responsible for cutting in revised panels/shots in animatic reels & colour assemblies.
• Export audio clips & scenes for animation revisions
• Inserting audio pick-ups into existing animatic reels.
• Export screening files for internal review
• Additional duties assigned by the Series Editor

Required Experience/Professional Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience in an editing role
• Working knowledge of the animation workflow
• Working knowledge of editorial software packages (Avid & Adobe Premiere Pro)
• Basic knowledge of programs used in Comp/FX (After Effects, Photoshop)
• Strong Time Management Skills
• Able to problem solve and multi task.
• Strong communication skills; verbal, nonverbal and written.
• Professional and positive attitude
