3D Character Animator

studio soi Fixed-Term  Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany 18 Mar 2022

Job Description

Studio Soi is looking for 3D character animators to work with us in Ludwigsburg, Germany. We are providing the sole animated character for a live-action TV series with an animated main character. We are offering a full time job, starting in May 2022. Project end is estimated for November 2022. We are working with Maya.

All animators will work on the title character. Strong acting skills and body mechanics will be required, as well as the ability to create a performance switch between cartoony and subtle, depending on the scene.

We are building a core team to work in house at studio soi in order to develop a consistent animation style and language. The animation supervisor is experienced in the industry and eager to share his knowledge. We want to encourage the team to learn on the project and develop their skills.

Some knowledge of the German language is a plus, particularly for lip sync scenes. However, the animation team will be international and will mostly communicate in English.

Studio Soi has a long tradition of working with teams from various countries, backgrounds and cultures. We are looking forward to welcoming new artists in to our studio and to working with them.
