Our 200+ M2 family is a melting pot of experienced talents consisting of more than 20 nationalities from all over the world.  We cover everything from storytelling to design, modeling to texturing, layout to lightning, and effects to color grading. Right now, M2 Animation is looking for 2D Production Supervisor to support our teams creating TV Series, TVCs and High-Spec Short Format Films for a variety of big-name clients.

The Position:
We are looking for a skilled, and friendly 2D Production Supervisor with strong management skills, a firm technical understanding of the 2D series process, and a person who is happy to engage in collaborative discussions, to help us continue to produce high-quality visual images for a variety of script-to-screen formats of 2D animation.

In addition to managing and developing the structure of the 2D department, the 2D Supervisor will lead a team of talented artists by efficient time/task management, creating strong examples and guidelines, build effective workflows, advise on softwares and tools, and implement a variety of procedures (technological and technique oriented) to improve the effectivity of the related departments.

To be successful in this role you need to be a true team player and passionate about helping to create the best environment for the production. You will collaborate with variety of stakeholders (Producers, Managers, Supervisors, Pipeline, and Artists) and you will have to be a good listener, sparring partner and be able to analyze input, prioritize needs and execute in partnership.

Skills and Technical Knowledge Requirements:

• Has extensive knowledge in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe, and paperless 2D pipelines and work experience on at least 3 animation series from beginning to end.
• Work closely with Producer, Director and Head of Production to create high quality 2D animation
• Identify and solve problems, both technically and artistically.
• Understand a wide variety of departments and processes in 2D Animation: from storyboarding, design, character builds, BG painting, layout, animation and compositing
• Review episodes with Producers and Directors and advise on efficiencies to meet and exceed quality expectations
• Meet production deadlines and milestones by communicating with Production.

Primary software: Toon Boom, Adobe Suite, variety of other 2D related softwares

Terms of employment, salary, and benefits will be individually negotiated.

The position is available from as soon as possible and for at least a year, with the possibility of extending the contract.
