Once again, Redbird Esports showcased their strength, defeating Bradley in a clean sweep, 3-0, to secure the title. Valparaiso University, who put up a strong fight in the tournament, rounded out the podium with a third-place finish after winning the consolation bracket against Missouri State and Evansville.

Their performance in Rocket League was equally impressive. After breezing through the semifinals with a 4-0 win over Bradley, the Redbirds faced off against Southern Illinois University in the finals. The result was a commanding 4-0 victory, cementing their dominance. Southern Illinois took second place, while Missouri State edged Bradley and Valparaiso in the consolation rounds to finish third in this fast-paced, high-scoring title.

The final competition of the day saw Illinois State’s Redbird Esports team face off in Super Smash Bros., where they had already established themselves as a powerhouse during the regular season. In the semifinals, the Redbirds defeated Southern Illinois University in a swift 2-0 match, securing their spot in the finals against Missouri State. 

The Redbirds again easily claimed victory, clinching the championship and earning the right to represent the MVC at the Collegiate Esports Commissioners Cup (CECC) in Arlington, Texas. Missouri State finished second, while Valparaiso secured third after defeating Indiana State and Southern Illinois in the consolation rounds.
